On Sunday, May 22nd doors open to visitors within the protected park not far from San Giovanni Rotondo
On Sunday, May 22nd , from 8:30 am until sunset, the Salty Lake Oasis opened its doors to visitors for a tour inside the protected park (storks, flamingos, knights of Italy, herons, headed Duck, …). The visit is free and is for both adults and children. You can use picnic areas and playground. The Salty Lake Oasis is part of the wetlands of captains, the most important in southern Italy. The Oasis is in fact a wetland of 540 ha of high nature value, formed by a succession of lakes and dense reed beds, located in the town of Manfredonia (about 20 km from San Giovanni Rotondo).
