Pilgrimage of Capuchin bishops from around the world to San Giovanni Rotondo

From September 13rd  to 15th the second round after the one held in Rome during the Great Jubilee of 2000

The Capuchin bishops from around the world meet in San Giovanni Rotondo from 13rd  to 15th September. This is the second pilgrimage after the one held in Rome during the Great Jubilee of 2000. The initiative, organized by the General Curia of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, have already confirmed participation of 63 pastors, including the archbishop of Boston, S. Mr. Em. card. Sean Patrick O’Malley, who will be accompanied by the Minister General of the Order, Fr. Mauro Jöhri, and his definition. The program of the pilgrimage will include three lectures, a round table and three Masses. The program also includes two guided tours in the basilica of St. Michael the Archangel at Monte Sant’Angelo and the church of St. Pio of Pietrelcina.
