All to the cinema Palladino of San Giovanni Rotondo with free admission to “The Bicycle Thief,” the 1948 film by Vittorio De Sica considered among the finest examples of Italian neorealism cinema. The film, shot with a wide participation of non-professional actors, is based on the novel (1945) by Luigi Bartolini adapted to the big screen by Cesare Zavattini.
