On Friday, November 4th at the Cinema Palladino of San Giovanni Rotondo the play “The Bourbon reaction to San Giovanni Rotondo in 1860.” To bring the show the “Lion Theatre Workshop” in San Giovanni Rotondo, on the occasion of 150 anniversary of the Unification of Italy, wants to remember with a new language, but based on historical documents, one of the crucial moments of our local history and national level. Written by Professor Rosa of May, and with the participation of the Dance Studio of Antonella Rendina and Grace Pompilio, the event – from the dual teaching and commemorative purposes – is a tribute of gratitude to all those who died in San Giovanni Rotondo in 1860, and to the fallen of all wars in the name of an ideal.
