“Italia Nostra” association – one of the most important association to safeguard environment, culture and history founded in Italy in 1955 – has a new base in Monte Sant’Angelo, 25 km far from San Giovanni Rotondo. It will work to promote the countries in 4 cities of Gargano: Monte Sant’Angelo, Manfredonia, Mattinata e San Giovanni Rotondo. Mariagioia Sforza is the first president of the association.
