On Saturday, August 20 in Martyrs Square to the film festival with Caesar Friona, noted film historian

The cultural association “The Musket” – under the patronage of the town of San Giovanni Rotondo – on the occasion of the 150 Unity of Italy wants to make its personal tribute to the land of “saints, poets and navigators” with a film festival by entitled “Italy, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. Travel in the memories of a nation “to be held August 20th at 8.30 pm in Martyrs Square. During the show will be screened excerpts from popular films of the author in order to tell and analyze changes, the vices and virtues of the Italian people from the second world war. Guest of honor of the evening the well-known film historian and secretary of the National Film Study Center of Rome that Cesare Friona offer its critical contribution to the vision and share with the public the many anecdotes “beyond the screen” of his long career.
