Seventy years of priestly ordination of Father Paul Covino

Wednesday, March 21 at 11:30 am we celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Priestly Ordination of Fr Paul Covino in the Lower Church of San Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo. Father Paul Covino was ordained a priest March 21, 1942 in Campobasso. The Friars Minor Capuchin Province of Sant’Angelo e Padre Pio – Foggia and Family get together with him in this important occasion for a man of faith who has traversed the twentieth century next to Padre Pio, like a brother to perform a great mission. Father Paul was born in 1918 by Michael Covino and Assumed the Great, who entrusted the education of the Capuchins as a child in the convent of San Giovanni Rotondo.
