On 8th  March we celebrate the World Day of the kidney. A hidden evil, silent, too often ignored. Yet the effects can be so devastating to compare, according to medicine, to those of oncological diseases. These diseases of the kidney which suffers, often without knowing it, 10% of Italian population. The Italian Society of Nephrology, the Kidney Foundation Italian, in collaboration with the Italian Red Cross and the International Society of Nephrology, have promoted for Thursday, March 8 The Seventh “World Kidney Day”, the day when you can measure the pressure for free blood and make urine testing centers nephro and squares of major cities (San Giovanni Rotondo in the Department of Nephrology Hospital Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza).
