On Thursday, April 21 one of the masterpieces of Italian neorealism: Vittorio De Sica’s Sciuscià

One of the masterpieces of Italian neorealism and the most popular director Vittorio De Sica. We are talking about Sciuscià, film Thursday, 21 April 1946 that will be screened in cinemas Palladino of San Giovanni Rotondo at 21. Admission is free thanks to the exhibition D’Autore.

The film deals with issues related to children and the difficult life they are forced to continue to survive the difficult postwar period. Sciuscià is a Neapolitan dialect word that is now in disuse after the war to describe the shoe (from shoe-shine).
