In the charming old town is celebrating the rite of the Madonnas Dressing
In mid-August in San Giovanni Rotondo in the picturesque old town is celebrating the rite of Dressing of Madonnas. The tradition wants that are addobati with care and dedication the premises on the ground floor of the houses in the historic center, to house the painting of the Madonna of the Seven Veils in view of the anniversary of his holidays, on days 14 and 15 August. On the evening of August 15, again by tradition we will be the show folkloristic group “Eco del Gargano” in central Martyrs Square starting at 9pm.
