New life for the first hospital of saint Pio
In the next weeks the municipality of San Giovanni Rotondo is going to start the building renovation to the ex Church of Maria Maddalena in the old town centre, the same building that was the first hospital of saint Pio. The building, after the renovation, will became the “Home of Cultures” for events, meeting and art exhibitions. In the last months Regione Puglia, with European regional development fund, has allocated 479.000 euro for the works. Nicola Fiorentino
