Course to build the Palm Penta for Palm Sunday

It plays for free on 24 and March 25 in rooms of the city of San Giovanni Rotondo
The Workroom Artefacendo, at Easter 2012, in San Giovanni Rotondo is organizing the course for the realization of the so-called “Palma Penta” (the painted palm). The olive tree typical of our area and a symbol of wisdom, life, regeneration and peace, usually replaces the palm that Christians, on the Sunday before Easter, used to commemorate Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.
La Palma Penta is an olive branch to which they apply, with a particular technique, the woven leaves. Can be made in various sizes, and it is tradition to bless the Sunday is known as “Palm”.
